Sex On A Budget: DIY Natural Lubricant & Massage Oil
Lubricants can be somewhat costly to a person on a strict budget and you may not always have the cash needed to put down to get your favorite brand, but there is a convenient substitute that you might find more affordable in the meantime.
Natural carrier oils may be used as natural lubricants and massage oils as long as they are purely made. There are organic versions abound online and they are pretty affordable. Although they lack the smart formulation, enticing fragrances, and other special effects of brand lubricants, they are still a natural and usually safe option as natural lubricants. Although most carrier oils are safe for use as is, be sure to do your own research on how safe various carrier oils are before deciding to use them. You may also decide to add in your own essential oils for special stimulating effects, but be sure to do your own research beforehand if you are unsure how much to use as essential oils can be very strong in concentration and can irritate skin if not diluted in the oil enough. One might also consider utilizing natural butters for use as a masturbation cream such as shea butter or kokum butter. These are safe for use on skin as is.
Some Great Carrier Oils and Natural Butters Are:
- Almond Oil
- Carrot Seed Oil
- Grapeseed Oil
- Shea Butter
- Kokum Butter
Essential Oils for Stimulating Effects:
- Spearmint EO (Cooling)
- Cinnamon EO (Stimulating/Warming)
Although making your own lubricant or massage oil can be more work, it is easily tailored to your qualifications this way. It may not have the same smooth consistency or pleasant scent of a store bought lubricant or massage oil, but it is a nice alternative if that is not an option for you. If you absolutely prefer to purchase these items, then do so. It is important that you feel comfortable with what goes on your body so you can enjoy yourself fully.
