In honor of upcoming St. Patrick’s Day and since I’m Irish American, I thought it would be fun to do a list of my favorite Irish fare since a lot of you may be celebrating this awesome holiday soon! I’m not saying I’m the expert on this sort of this, but I’m part Irish and I love food so basically, yes, I am an expert. 😉 You don’t necessarily have to cook anything yourself, if you don’t want to, though it’s all pretty easy to make. You can always go out and get some from your local Irish pub and if all else fails – GUINNESS.

I’m sure it won’t surprise you, but one of the most popular Irish drinks is Guinness, or a dark beer (ale). If you’re 21+ and fancy a drink on St. Patty’s, there’s no better way to salute this fun holiday than with a pint! Corn Beef & Cabbage (Usually with Potatoes)

This is an absolutely traditional Irish meal so if you plan on staying in for a naughty night of hot and steamy Irish-accented sex, there’s no better meal to seal the deal with, I’m just saying! Yummy corn beef and cabbage are stewed together and they go great with boiled potatoes on the side.

This is a great one for meat-lovers as it includes lamb, bacon, AND beef plus potatoes (obviously, because it’s Irish – we live on those!), carrots, and onion. It’s a pretty heavy meal, but delicious and if you’re trying to impress someone, especially if that someone is a real man’s man, THIS is the meal to make.
